When everything was bad for Maiden in America and major markets, Brazil, Argentina and other countries supported them like they will never be supported by USA. But now, that they are mainstream there they turn their backs against us! It's totally unfair! Is it all about the money then? They reached a point that they don't need to do just for the money and I'm not asking them to play for free. I would pay a good amount of money to see them live but the truth is that I think they turned their back against us. That hurts. I'm a fan since 1984.

...I think you'll find they often play the places you described, maybe not every tour - but they have certainly played in each of those 2 countries you mentioned a few times since '84...

They cant play every single country any more. The world slavery tour almost killed them once, imagine what it would do to them 20 years on...
Just look at Rock in Rio...
That was filmed in Latin america...and they were doing alright when that was done

For whatever reason my previous post was deleted, anywho I'll butcher the translation of the saying as it goes something around the lines of, "The Three Musketeers are not the same 20 years later." Brother of the 7th son is right in pointing out 1. Maiden Play Latin America MUCH more often than the U.S AND 2. They are getting quite old, give them a break and let them tour where they see fit.

Besides which, they'll probably tour Latin America in 2008 with the enlarged Powerslave set. I'm so looking forward to that tour.

Havent there been rumours about south american gigs in 2007? Lets hope for the best. If they dont tour there I´m sure there is a good reson for it. Promotor issues or something like that. They love their southamerican fans. I mean who wouldnt.
:)
