Alien Ant Farm is definitely outside of my wheelhouse but that cover is just magic. I think I’ve only ever went out of my way to listen to it twice, but it gets stuck in my head occasionally. The videos a trip too. Growing up in the 2000s, I didn’t really like the aesthetic of the age (I guess I started having conscious thoughts around late 2001). I always felt, even at a young age, that everything felt kind of grimy or dirty. Now I appreciate the aesthetic for what it is.

The original version of the song is better. And the video is a nice short movie. But, the cover by Alien Ant Farm is also rocking, despite the video that is quite ridiculous.

Sabbath

While Heaven Wept
have way more that interests me. Dark Funeral is fine enough, I guess, but not my bag.

Anyone other than Ted Nugent

Moonsorrow
have a really cool, atmospheric tune, even if I don't care for the vocals. Smooth Criminal is awesome, but doesn't belong here.

Symphony X bias.

Slayer because, again, I just can't vote for a good-timey 70s rock song (even though I like it).
