I was watching the Ullevi show from 2OO5 and noticed at 2:51 of Where Eagles Dare  next to Janick there was a SIT drape. I was wondering why it was there as the tour was the first four albums. Does anyone know why it was there and if there are any other future eddies on this tour?

I'm pretty sure that the Early Days tour is the only tour since Fear of the Dark was released where it wasn't played.

I meant that they dropped other overplayed classics such as NOTB and Trooper.

Yeah but those get a rest every now and then. The only way to get rid of Fear of the Dark is to make a tour take place during a period in which it didn't exist, and yet that still only worked once :P

yea they took the easy way out with that tour as a whole imo. I didn't like the setlist. It shouldv'e been the same setlist as the world slavery tour. There were too many overplayed fear of the darks... i mean classics

True. And I agree that it shouldn't have been on the SBIT tour.

Agree. Had they dropped it, it would have made room for another song from Somewhere In Time. Thus I disagree with Mosh. A copy of World Slavery Tour wouldn't make much sense only three years after the Early Days tour, where half of those songs were played anyway. Personally I'd have liked to hear Stranger In A Strange Land and Infinite Dreams instead of Revelations and Fear Of The Dark (although I loved to hear Revelations, ID would have been so much grander).

Well, according to Rod in a recent interview, he revealed that there are plans to release Maiden England and Live At Donington '92 on DVD. That could mean that there will be another history tour related to that period, so we may very well get a couple more SIT and SSOASS tracks. Or we may get the same ones again.

I think if we get any more "history" tours it will be a farewell type tour. All encompassing. 3 more tours tops! Including the upcoming proper Final Frontier tour. Hope i am wrong.

Yeah, i agree the next "history" tour will be a farewell tour , possibly after the tour for the next album (the one after TFF). They made the ultimate history tour with SBIT , where they even played songs from SSOASS . I mean what's left...a tour for...NPFTD and FOTD ??I doubt it and it would be silly ,playing FOTD (the song) is more than enough.

Infinite Dreams live...now that WOULD be something.

Along with Afraid to shoot strangers this is a song that I would kill to see. I wonder what Bruce would do for the epic scream in the middle of the song, theres no way he could hit that constantly for a whole tour with out negative side effects.

Probably the same thing he does for Number of the Beast now, tons of effects.

Actually, I think we're about to see 4 different world tours:

The coming TFF tour.
History part 3.
Next Album tour (1 leg? 2 legs? Who knows?).
Farewell tour.
