OK OK, I am so excited right now, I'm serious my freakin' heart is racing. I just saw the first ever Eurovision Dance competition and I am SO HAPPY to report Finland won!!! They danced a "traditional" number and then the one they took the cake with.... They danced a paso doble to Apocalyptica's cover of The Unforgiven!!!! That is SO Finland!!! I love that country like no other... well... Not more than my own, but close lol. I would look up the youtube vids but I have a dial-up connection so that's a no go, sorry. OH and one of Sweden's dances was to Europe's The Final Countdown. I'm moving to Scandinavia, it's a done deal, great music, great hockey, fucking heaven on earth!!!
 
The Eurovision Dance contest - what ever will they think of next. I did see that advertised and deliberately avoided it at all costs. But well done Finland and dancing to a Metallica tune as well. I may watch the routine on Youtube, sometime.

It should be mentioned that these dancers were chosen days before the the competition started, they did what most experts considered non-mainstream slow dances while many, like Germany and Sweden, did very poppy dances.
