6 years after the forecast from the Economist we see that this kind of future is still not there.Right, so you just passed your test and now you're staring at car finance like it's written in ancient Greek. Been there, mate. The thing about being young and trying to get wheels is that lenders automatically think you're gonna wrap it round a lamppost or miss payments. Not fair, but that's life. Checking out Car Plus showed me that deals exist specifically for our age bracket even without credit history. Looking at £185.33 monthly for a seven grand loan over five years at 21.9% APR seems steep until you realize the alternative is buses forever. Models like Volkswagen Polo make sense for new drivers since insurance won't bankrupt you completely.
