Symbol on Album Covers

I am new here and I'm sorry if I am not doing this right, but I have a question about the symbol that appears on the album covers.  It's on the bricks to the left of Eddie's right shoulder on Iron Maiden, it's in the 1st story window in the building closest to Eddie on Killers, I believe it's right above the entrance into the temple on Powerslave, it's reflecting off the water to Eddie's right on SSOASS.  Anybody know what it means, and where it's located on the newer albums?

Well the symbol is actually Derek Rigg's signature. Considering the fact that the more recent album covers, with exception of a few in the past, were not painted by Derek Riggs, his signature will not be present.

And if it was, I think we'd have a lawsuit-a-brewin'.  ;)
