Summer goals

Every summer I set myself a lofty goal like reading Shakespeare, Nietchze, writing and finishing a story or being more physically active. However.... never or rarely do these things come true (last summer I did read and finished three books.)

So this summer I aimed low and it paid off. I decided to Play and finish all six games of Mega Man for NES and I did that in two weeks! WOOHOO. Now I'm playing Mega Man 7 for the SNES and I'm almost done with that one too. Once I'm done with that I'll probably go back to reading but for now I'm liking this haha.

You guys have any summer resolutions?

Convince a certain chick that she wants to date me.
Get up to see LC a few times
 
This summer, i'll just finish my DEC so that I can go to university in September then i'll try to find someone who will be willing to hire me for 1½ month....
 
Learn to moonwalk in celebration of Michael Jackson's freedom.
Learn to play le cross
Learn to subract the square on the hypotnuse

Isn't it usually the other way around?
Or are you still worried about dying from the killer heat waves?

Try learning to square the circle. If you can do, you'll make history - no one yet has been able to do it, at least following the old Greek rules.

My goal is to see maiden on the tour [!--emo&:P--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/tongue.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'tongue.gif\' /][!--endemo--] and survive on the money i've erned for the summer...

An other goal is is reading "Crimes and punishment" (direclty translated, I don't know the english name) by Fjodor Dostojevskij.
 
I'm going to get horribly intoxicated every night until football season starts.
 
Mine was Maiden consert, but thats finished now. So now it's Sabbath in a week. After that....hmm...Do not think of school [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
 
Well since I accomplished my goal of finishing the six Mega Man games for the NES I have set a new goal for myself (and it is not to play MM 7 or MMX 1-5 on the SNES). I decided to finally finish the two novels I started, well I started one last semester and one the begining of summer. So finish those two novels along with The Little Prince by Antione Saint-Exuberie (sp? to lazy to look at the book cover hehe). Many of you may think of that book as a children's book but NEY. It is very deep, like most of Dr. Seus' books.

Sorry for reviving a dead topic, but i have to tell you about my goal. This summer promised i would make myself a new body, so i wouldn't reckognize myself when high-school starts. Half the summer is over, and not much has changed [!--emo&:(--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--]. Hopefully I'll get off my ass more often and go play basketball, like i did yesterday evening...
 
Well, my goal of finishing the two novels I had started last semester is only partially completed as I have only finished one. And this topic wasn't dead... just dorment [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--] Dead is when it no longer appears on the two pages of the general discussion forum.
