This site, and the games it contains, has gotten some attention in the 100k thread lately. I thought I'd move the discussion here.

I've created a game. Given recent events, you should all have listened to some of this lately:
Name the albums Ronnie James Dio sang on.

I love Sporcle. It's how I get through my days at work. I haven't found any recently to post, but I definitely would blow at Albie's.
 
i got 156/171 on the Judas Priest one. I would've gotten one more, but the song's name is DreamER Deceiver, not Dream Deceiver. >:(
 
I had a go at the Metallica one and only got around 60 (I was so annoyed with myself I could not recall the exact score). I just froze with Load and Reload guessing correctly around 4 between them (but I don't listen to these albums much anyroad) and missed out on some I should have got.

Time up and No Remorse is highlighted as a missed answer! :huh:
 
Sorry to bump such an old thread but I just made a quiz for Maiden songs containg the word "dream" in the lyrics. This is my first quiz so please say if it can be improved.

I can make it easier if it's too hard by giving the lyrics that contain dream as clues or not ending the game at wrong answers.
I can also change it if 10 minutes is too long.

Yeah, it ends whenever you type in a wrong title. Needs desperate fixing.

That was intentional to make the quiz harder otherwise you could write any maiden song. Seeing as naming every maiden song in 10 minutes is quite difficult anyway I might change that though.

EDIT: Game changed to 5 minutes but wrong answers don't end the quiz.

People with an interest in the quiz wouldn't do that. It's supposed to show you how well you know your Maiden, and not to give people who complete it a prize. The way you handled it now is quite the right one.

Which is way too short, in my opinion. Ten minutes would have been better. I know most of the lyrics by heart, but I still had to revisit them in my head. Even if you have a rather short list of potential candidates, it takes time to think.

Still, this is quite an interesting quiz. It teaches you how your intuition can fool you. There were several songs of which I was convinced that the word dream was in them - and it wasn't. There was talk of sleep and nightmares, but no dreams.

EDIT: You did miss one, though:

Rainmaker - "And I dream of the rain as it falls upon the leaves"
