Sound Quality of Total Eclipse on TNOTB '98

Genghis Khan

Ancient Mariner
I have just recently got my hands on TNOTB '98 Remasters.  I was listening to Total Eclipse, which I know was a b-side left out from the original release, and noticed a lower sound quality than the rest of the CD.  Bruce's singing is barely audible.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Hmmm... The music is the same quality, it is just that Bruce's voice is fainter.  When I listen to the MP3 version of all remastered TNOTB songs, however, they all sound the same.  It just sounds different on the stereo.  Maybe it is time for a new stereo.  However, if that is true, than all songs should have a fainter singing.  Oh, well, I'd thought I'd try and see if anyone had a similar difficulty.

I think I can see where you're coming from here, Genghis (if I could be so formal ;)). The vocals are slightly lower that the rest - but I only really noticed because you have pointed it out, so it can't be that bad.

This is it, Albie  ;).  Another thing that just occurred to me is that I do not know the lyrics to Total Eclipse well (*ducks as if expecting a stoning - JK), while I know the lyrics to the other songs.  So when this song was "slightly lower" its vocals stuck out.
