Solid-Power songs : 'Fallen' vs. 'Frontier'

This poll will focus on what I consider solid power songs


And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post your reasons WHY you chose your vote.





This was an extremely close race. Both are excellent and wonderful.
Both are exciting and pleasurable.
I liked both upon first hearing, and they still remain awesome.



Reason for voting for 'New Frontier' is because, the chorus grabs me so much, I can't deny it.

But, both are 10's.

Both great songs. I think I prefer Fallen Angel simply because it's not as repetitive as New Frontier. I know the chorus is, but that's actually one of the bits that sounds really good.

I voted for New Frontier which is one of the most inconsistent songs in the IM catalog. If find the opeing kind of weak and the verses (delivery AND lyrics) are among the worst I can think of, but the chorus and scorching hot leads almost bring it to the realm of all-time classics.

On the other hands I find the Fallen Angel is one of the many examples of "short rockers" that don't really come together.
