So much for Nicko remaining a member of the band

No disrespect to Nicko at all, I certainly noticed the differences in Simon and Nicko's playing and would say Nicko is a more competent drummer (not that I'm a big authority on drums anyway), but I never felt there was anything "missing" from the show at all.
Totally: exactly the same as appreciating Nicko's playing was never any disrespect to Clive.

To me it"s obvious Simon is the rightful Iron Maiden member now!
He is still a touring member/hired gun until he has decision power. And that will be when he appears as a member of the Iron Maiden LLP. Until then, he is getting paid by the band for his service, therefore is a hired gun/touring member.

Nicko, despite having no decision power, still has his holdings company in the Iron Maiden LLP, so I guess he is still getting paid, but has no decision power.

Another thing to take into account is that Nicko's membership was terminated on 2nd of July 2025. So the alternative could be that that the relationship between Nick and the band worsened between early December 2024 and July 2025 and Nicko quit.

It says the date of termination was the 7th December and this form was "received for filing" on the 2nd July. Sounds like the termination has been official since December and this form wasn't filed, and thus able to be viewed by randos on the internet, until now.

I'd actually like some more context, what is this form, where did it come from, why has it only just surfaced?

It's just a LLP membership termination. Nothing more, nothing less.

He done this everytime but okay, looks like i hurt some feelings with the post, lol. sorry for that.

No hurt feelings over here, I just think we need to think a bit more clearly before we start running wild with rumours of arguments and ill-will within the band when we don't have any evidence to suggest that's the case.

what is this form
It's an official form notifying the Registrar of Companies that, as of 7 December 2024, Michael Henry McBrain ceased to be a Member of the Limited Liability Partnership called "Iron Maiden LLP" (which is a purely legal entity concerned with the business of running the band and nothing at all to do with the creative aspect of the band).
where did it come from
You can find and download it from Companies House - the public register of companies & other incorporated concerns in the UK: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/OC335408.
why has it only just surfaced?
Two reasons:
1. It was filed very late (deadline for this form I think is 14 days from the change - so they probably got a penalty, lol), and
2. nobody looked before.

Now that I saw two Maiden shows with SImon on drums, I must say I don't miss Nicko THAT much. Unpopular statement, I know, but the truth for me. Was never much of a Nicko fan anyway, and I prefer Simon all the way.
I'm not going to go that far. He's better than Future Past Tour (and Virtual XI album-not tour) Nicko but that's about it. Nicko was awesome.

Each to their own an' all but rating Simon over Nicko at full playing capacity is insane.
I don't compare their drum qualities. I just like Simon better. He brings some innovations to stage, plus he seems a nice and friendly dude.

When I met the entire band in 2005 and had a chance to speak them, they were all super cool except for Nicko, who was weird and rather unfriendly. Definitely not the "funny guy" he is often believed to be.

No disrespect about his druming tho.

You’re a bell end plain and simple. Starting a thread for no reason other than to think you’ve got some special info but really you’ve either copied and pasted this from another forum or, you’ve got nothing better to do with your life.

This is a business transaction and has no bearing on how the band view Nicko.

This is an Iron Maiden discussion forum. I posted an interesting thing about Iron Maiden. People enjoyed it and posted replies.

And it clearly does have a bearing on how the band view Nicko : if he was still “in the band” and being paid despite not touring (as there has been some discussion about) clearly he wouldn’t have been removed as a shareholder. So we now know this isn’t a Steve Perry/John Deacon/Mick Mars type of situation.

Happy to provide this interesting piece of information to the fans on this board and I’m sorry you chose to get personally offended by factual information.

Life must be hard when you’re a perpetually-triggered MaidenTard.

I disagree, I found that document very insightful. I’ve never seen anything similar and had no idea how things are formalized in a professional band in UK so that post certainly added something as far as I’m concerned.
