That requires zero creativity. Any idiot can do that.
I am
not calling previous posters idiots - I'm assuming that you're all simply repeating what you've heard elsewhere, as Black Dragon orginally suggested.
I also have no respect for any nickname involve the word "gay" or other homophobic references. I have zero tolerance for any attitude which states 'homosexual = bad'. When you make such a statement, you're insulting many fine human beings - including a man who once literally saved my life. I will not stand by silently as my friends are insulted.
Again, none of my ire is directed at posters in this thread. You're just repeating names you've heard elsewhere, right?

The reason why I brought to people's attention is because certain people would come up with a insulting name for a band they don't like so that person would attract attention and form a squad dedicated to hating a certain band. And making an insult like the ones we've all discovered are the first step to attracting people's attention. Well, probably teenagers.
An example was on the IMBB, when somebody had asked people on the board to enrol in the Guns n' Roses hater army. That's what annoyed me, as they are a band that got me into metal and I just generally find them great to listen to. Or take Dream Theater, many people call them "musical masturbators" as a form of insult. That kind of "joke" is obvsiouly aimed to attract the attention of kids, and so they pass that joke on to others while they probably haven't even listened to Dream Theater.
