Sick of eBay Tour Shirt Capitalists...Make repros!

I saw a really cool 88 Tour shirt on eBay going for $599. I emailed the guy asking if he knew of anywhere where I could find an affordable reproduction. He told me he's "anti-repro". I can see why. Because the scum bag is selling a $15 shirt for $600.

Does anyone know if anywhere that makes reproductions of old school tour shirts? I will never be able to afford $600 for a maiden shirt. I thought most maiden fans were mostly modest-living (to say the least) metalheads. Who the hell is supporting these bastards paying 600 for shirts? What do I look like? Some yuppie-scum Dead Head?

If anything, Maiden themselves should start reprinting vintage tour shirts and put these filthy pigs out of business. I'd rather give the money to the band that I love than some douche that ransacked every vintage clothing store he could find so that he could make a 20x profit on a t-shirt.

LOL!

You need less than a quarter of a brain to realize that he has some serious issues  :).

With 600$, you could see Maiden 6 times live!

So, you want a Maiden shirt, eh?

Well, I can only tell you that I got mine on the market for 10$.

I see them all the time going for $100-$200 range. If it is unique design to that era then guess what your going to pay a premium.
Wow! A couple going for $1000 or more. Man if i sold my old school shirts i could make some coin, but they are priceless.

Just because some dude is asking $1000 doesn't mean anybody is crazy enough to pay that.

I have a 'classic' IBM with 24MB of ram, and a 386 CPU, if anyone wants it for the low price of $895.

Heh-heh!

I bought a great BNW era T-shirt, in Croatia two years ago, made by some fans, no doubt.  It is a Di'Anno Era looking Eddie with his middle finger up.  The finger is a candle representing The Wickerman.  The price was nothing ridiculous like that guy is selling; more in the low $20s.

I have a couple maiden shirts...I would just really like one of the 80's tour shirts...some of them have really sick retro designs (Like the Hawaii shirt with Eddie Surfing, or the NY '88 shirt with the Statue of liberty getting her brains splattered). The originals go for f'ng 200-600 dollars though...you can't even wear a shirt for that price in good conscience! Plus, they're 20 years old, beaten up, and have been worn by god knows who.

What I really think would be cool if they reprinted a  (if not most) of these designs and started selling them again. I would think that if there's enough demand for them to support a $600 price tag, then it would be worth someones while to do so...and all these guys have "NOT a reproduction" all over their auction listings, which leads me to believe that someone has by now. I've scoured the net but can only come up with grossly priced originals. Honestly, I think anyone trying to sell a maiden shirt for such a ghastly premium should be rightfully put out of business by real fans anyway. Anyone have photoshop and access to a printing press?
