I happened to stumble on this and I found it quite funny, so I thought I'd share it with you.


Swedish Chef Gets Metal With Help of Korpiklaani

We figured the maniacal Swedish Chef from “The Muppets” would crank up Scandinavian music when he wanted to swing the cleaver or choke his chicken, but we sort of took him for a fan of Hypocrisy, Meshuggah, At the Gates or someone else from Sweden. Little did we know the fluffy guy prefers folk metal.

Totally unrelated, but speaking of Korpiklaani, they cancelled their show at a festival here in Finland because their equipment was still somewhere in Belgium.  Thanks, Graspop. <_<  However, the festival actually managed to get a replacement in 40 minutes, and they started playing exactly on schedule.
