First of all sorry for the bad english, i hope you will understand it. :D
So question number 1: If i subscribe to the fanclub, when i will be able to use it?
2. If i subscribe one day after they announce the tour dates, will i be able to buy presale tickets?
3. How works the "first to the barrier" thing?
4. When they will announce the winners? One month before the show?
5. How long can i enter the draw?
6. If i win, i can bring one more people with me, but he must have a ticket?
7. If the show is in a festival, there will be no "first to the barrier", right?

Thank you so much for your answers!

It's been a long time since I've done any of the First To The Barrier competitions or pre-sale stuff on the FC forum. I can try and answer but perhaps someone else can add additional information.

1) Once your payment goes through online you gain access immediately to the fanclub forums and those parts of the website. You'll probably receive your membership package 2-3 weeks after that depending on where you live.

2) Yes, The pre sale tickets are done by a code that you receive in your inbox on the FC forum sometime before the ticket sale goes live to the general public (Like a day or two before, and you have to use the code within that time if you wish to buy pre sale tickets for that show). So it hasn't got anything to do with the tour announcement itself.

3) First To The Barrier is a competition that you can enter, also via the FC forum email system. If you win FTTB you'll get send a wristband by post (That is how it used to work when I won it. Not sure if they still do it like this now) that you have to wear and then show up at the venue at some appointed time and you'll be let in as a group (you and the other FTTB winners) one hour ahead of all the people who is queuing in line, so that you get to buy merch and pick a spot right on the barrier.

4) I don't remember this, but yes, something like that.

5) Not sure for how long the draw is open for but it will say when they have the competition.

6) Yes. He must have a ticket.

7) That is correct. Also it is not every indoor venue that has FTTB either...it depends on the venue too and if they can facilitate it. So it's not sure that there will be a FTTB competion for the show you are going too.

If someone applies for FTTB and wins, they still have to buy a ticket, right?

Of course. First To The Barrier is just so that you can get in early and see the show from up front without having to queue outside the venue for 10 hours. But every FTTB winner need to have their own personal ticket to use it.

I think that there is a limit because of ticket scalping and so on but I don't remember the specifics because I haven't used the presales myself in YEARS. Some current FC members should be able to read an old presale message in their inbox, perhaps it says in the details :)

I remember I joined back in 08/09 to get good pre sale access, but it was a cheap online only membership...do they still do that?
