Question About SBIT '08 Tour

Couldn't find any discussions on this on the forum, but I couldn't help notice on one the documentaries (may have been on flight 666), that Maiden had a truly KILLER stage for the early shows (maybe January '08) particularly in Paris and in London.
The stage looked almost like an exact replica of the 84 Poweslave stage. They even had the huge Egyptian death mask that opened to reveal the gigantic Eddie Mummy ! They included also the cyborg Eddie walking around like on later shows. The drum platform had 3 dimensional steps like stone
s and they even had the same looking stone steps leading to the side platforms of the stage. Even down to the Egyptian dogs on facing each other on each side of the drum kit.

My question is: Does anyone have any pro shot video of any of these shows. I have the Portro Alegre Brasil show on dvd that is on YouTube . But during the song Iron Maiden they just being out the giant cyborg Eddie.
I found a full concert of Paris that was shot by the audience, but would be thrilled to find an actual pro shot full show using this set!

Oh wow! I never knew they had the full Egyptian Eddie during Iron Maiden on that tour.

I've just watched a part of the Paris show and the production looks so much better than what was shown on Flight 666! Why did I have to be a naive 10 year old during that tour?

I don't think any pro-shot footage exists, unfortunately. I saw the show in Chicago in 2008 and it was pretty fantastic!

I'll bet! Just the bootleg footage looks incredible'.
The only thing I can think of is that they possibly could not fit all that stuff on Ed Force One? What a shame! All they seem to use now on any tour are drapes over a cookie cutter stage frame.

Yeah, they had to trim the stage show back for Ed Force One. Less Eddies, lighting, and props (Anubis statues etc.).

And, while I agree that the Maiden England set was pretty bland and uninspired, the TFF set was very "built out", what with all the spacecraft fuselage and towers. Technically, Maiden have been using the same stage frame style since 2003, though in recent years they switched to a modular frame with wheels (as seen in Behind the Beast).

Man... I'm watching this show now on my TV thinking how great this show is! They should have used this for the concert footage for Flight 666. The sound mix is fantastic and the band themselves were on fire! Gotta love the big stage production! Many thanks again! :)
