Prince/Super Bowl

Who else was pleasantly surprised at Prince's performance during halftime at the Super Bowl?  It has been over 20 years (i.e., the Purple Rain era) since I last heard him play a guitar live, and I had forgotten that he is pretty damn good.  I'm not really a Prince fan, but I was impressed.  Best part of the game, really. 

(Implicit assumption in this post is that you actually WATCHED the Super Bowl.  The U.S. networks claim every year that it is seen by almost a billion people worldwide, but that can't possibly be correct.  So, I'm also curious whether anyone did.)

I too was pleasantly suprised. I have never heard ANY prince (that I can recognize that is) So watching him at half time was pretty fun and he can sure as hell play!

I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I had the TV turned up to double its normal volume. Then I turned it up even more when I heard the first chord of "Purple Rain".
