Poor old Hamster

I really hopes he recovers too. Recently I've been watching Top Gear alot, and the banter between him and Jeremy Clarkson is just brilliant. Great guy, get better soon!

I've just heard about this on the news, let's hope the little guy is OK.

In fairness, he is a real petrol head - and he really does now the dangers of travelling at that speed. That said, I hope he is OK.

Yes, it's tragic that he's injured. I pray for his recovery just as I would anyone else's. That being said, however, it's his own damn fault. Why the bloody hell would someone take such an incredibly stupid risk with their life?

He sounds like a goddamned attention whore. You strap a jet engine to a car and try to break some land speed records, what the hell do you think is going to happen? He's not a hero, an inspiration, or a role model. He's a crazy idiot.

I'd say it serves him right, but I really wish no harm upon him.

Sorry but I can't see any relationship between a hamster and the story reported in this topic. I think that a hamster involved in a car crash is bloody lucky to have survived isn't it? :innocent:

The reason for the use of Hamster is that Richard Hammond's nickname is - you guessed it - Hamster.

Thanks Albie, you're right, I guessed it but I hardly resist when I can make a joke (even a bad one).

Just out of curiosity, Duke, why are you so tactless?

Someone needs to say it, Per, even if it is tactless and asshole-ish of me. I honestly hope he gets better, and wish he never got hurt in the first place, but it's his own fault.

Do we really need someone to say it?

Perun and Dukey, people were saying the same thing with Steve Irwin not so long ago.

I think that these guys are out to enteartain us and do not "deserve it" when the stunts go wrong.  Give him a break Dukey.

This Hammond geezer didn't deserve what happened to him, but he took the risk willingly. I wish him well, but he knew what the score was and has therefore very little sympathy from me. Sorry!  -_-

Poor Hammy.  I hope he recovers, I quite like him...

...but then, I never had a puppy as a child :P
