Out with the old and in with the.... Old again?

Well apperantly the GnR guys are not the only ones coming together after a long break. American metal is limping along and who comes to save the day? Old 80's bands! that's who! GnR joined Stone Temple Pilot's Scott Wieland to form Velvet Revolver and Motly Crue has reunited with the original members to put out a new cd. I was never a big fan of Motly Crue stuff (they were glam rockers after all hehe) but their new sound is amazing. I liked it a lot because it is that nice 80's sound (like BNW), a little harder and just plain awesome. It is amazing that it has to be old bands that redefine, or remind us what metal should be. It says a lot about Metal's state and creativity in the US hu?

I love velvet revolvers album, and i always enjoyed motley crue but i didn't hear their new song yet !!!! I hope they will play at some festivals this year cause i want to see them live, i think that it's one of the best "glam"bands around.
