Orchestral Iron Maiden

In all honesty, I could really care less about that.

Yeah same. But for the fans its a bit extra value for money. Though I would be pissed if Maiden did the same, and we only ever got them in a live recording and not on studio.

I think it would be kind of cool. It would make the live recording more special.

I'm not so keen on the idea of band playing with an orchestra, however I would be interested in hearing some of their music arranged for performance in a solely orchestral setting, one track that springs to mind is SSOASS. I think the guitar solos could become delightful violin solos.

It woulden't bother you at all, even if it was one of the best numbers they've written in the last ten years, that a perfect clean studio version didn't exist? It would really annoy me I think  :P

Probably be a shorter song. Like Wildest Dreams. I doubt a masterpiece would ever go unrecorded.

Well many Metallica fans find No Leaf Clover and Minus Human to be better songs than the entire Load/Reload albums

And well masterpiece is subjective, I know people who think Wildest Dreams is the best song on that album because its the most "80s Maiden".
