Long have I tried to lay my hands on Maidens early releases such as The Soundhouse Tapes and Live+1 but I can find them nowhere. Does anybody know ehere i can get them, preferably in cd format.

Also I would like to know where to get previously released singles on cd.

Im a big Maiden collector. Soundhouse Tapes on cd, I assume you mean the 2002 US release? Thats fairly easy to find on ebay. As far as Live + One goes, do you mean the Japanese release or the Greek release?

The Jap issue is in vinyl format and is also easy to find on ebay. I have the Greek vinyl issue, but that one is very difficult to get your hands on. And its expensive. Theres also a greek cassette version, which is even more insane to try and find.

....The bottom line here, is ebay, ebay, ebay. Keep checking there constantly.
Good luck.

If you can't find them 'nowhere' then maybe it's time you started looking 'somewhere' for them.

'Somewhere' typically contains more stuff than 'nowhere', and it's much easier to get to.

Which brings me to another point, if you looked 'nowhere', then you must have seen nothingness. I bet there're quite a few Buddhists who would pay you alot of money for guided tours of nothingness. You could use the money you earn from Nowhere Tours Inc. to fund frequent trips to 'Somewhere' to look for Iron Maiden records.

In all seriousness, we are sticklers for grammar and spelling on these forums. Because we have so many people who have English as their second, third, or even fourth language, we need to write properly in order to convey our meaning to all readers. It's in the interest of fairness to our fellow Maidenfans, in other words.

Please take the effort in the future to use proper grammar (or as close to it as you can come).

Hey man, you've been on here, what...a couple of days. Insulting people ain't the way forward. I learned that. I think everyone learned that.

Because the only person on this board that you really don't want to get in trouble with (apart from RW of course.

Is the master.

I'm (relatively) new here myself and I don't really want to jump in on a flame war I didn't start but...

His first post did use proper grammar and he was attacked and insulted first and was merely defending himself.

With all the slamming if IMBB and IM.org for their trolls, lack of intelligence and hostile environment, I'm surprised how harshly this newbie was jumped on for a relatively innocent and simple question.

As I'm normally the one who flames newbies -- or n00bs, to be more accurate -- I think I need to add my bit.

Conor didn't make any grammatical error when he stated that he could find the stuff nowhere. The real mistake would have been to say, like most people do (including myself in real life), that he can't find it nowhere.

Of course, the really appropriate way to express this would have been to say that he couldn't find it anywhere.

Conor is however one of the all-too-rare native English-speakers who can express themselves correctly and write proper English. So, please be kind. Thank you.

My question doesn't exactly pertain to this topic but can any of you tell me if this t-shirt is the real deal ? I purchased it on ebay for a healthy sum and since have wondered about its' authenticity. The main reason for my doubt is because it does not have any i.d. in the silkscreen (such as Maiden Holdings, 1988, etc.....) Also, the tag has been removed so I can't identify it by this either. This supposedly is an authentic World Slavery t-shirt from 84-85'. You can find it listed in ebay under item # 7520368936. Thanks for your help !!!

I think that you should have opened an independent thread for your question, cbr900rr_maiden, as well as provided a direct link to the item.

Anyway, I had a look and it looks pretty dodgy. Double-check the venues of that time [a href=\'http://www.maidenfans.com/imc/?url=tour05_powerslave/dates05_powerslave〈=eng&link=tours\' target=\'_blank\']on this page[/a], but it seems that Maiden played more venues in North America during the World Slavery Tour, so why state only those ones on the t-shirt? I used to have a t-shirt I bought at the time with the European dates, and they were all there on the back, not only a selected few. To me, it's most probably a fake.

Even if it's the real McCoy, I think that paying £185 for a t-shirt is way out of order anyway.
