In light of vaguely similar themes....

A Vauxhall Viva covered in rust......
Well you can't shag your bird on a double decker bus.

Sorry any excuse to quote the Macc lads!

I drive a 1992 Toyota Corolla. It has a couple door handles missing, and I need new tires and brake pads, but it's in good condition. It only cost me like 20$ to fill up my tank, so it's very gas effiecent (I'm doing my part to protect the environmen [!--emo&;)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--] ). I've been driving it for a two years, it's my first car, and the car I learned how to drive with. I love it. It's my millenium falcon.

since I'm not the only one with a crappy old car I'll go next. I'm driving a 1992 Chevy Berretta, 2 door, 6 cylinder. since it has no air conditioning and over 170,000 miles on it I got it for 380 bucks... granted I've spent over 2000 in repairs.... ugh, oh well, if I invest enough money into it it will become a classic [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

1998 Mercury Mountaineer. Yes, I drive a SUV. Flaming me for destroying the environment may now commence. Although, in my defense, I use public transportation (i.e. the bus) whenever possible. In fact, I often drive less than 15 miles per week.

I have sympathy for all you chumps who drive beaters. I've owned my share of them. I completely understand the rationale of telling yourself "My car may be old and beat up but it's actually great!" You say that now, but just wait until you get your first NEW car. You'll never go back to used again. Bah. That should be my job, but at least you're not driving a Leopard II which uses 700l per 100km [!--emo&:P--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/tongue.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'tongue.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Or an H3! plus in rocky mountain land (colorado) SUVs can be excused as necesity because of the snow. Which reminds me I'll be spending 5 days in Aspen these holidays.... yes even though we can't afford them hahaha

So true!! [!--emo&:P--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/tongue.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'tongue.gif\' /][!--endemo--] I used to drive my father's minivan and I thought it was great but I bought a 2001 Subaru Impreza this summer and I don't want to go back to that old truck. It may not be the most gas efficient car but it sure works well on the snow [!--emo&:)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'smile.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
