Nicko performs at 1 year anniversary of Rock'N'Roll Ribs

and clever takes on MAIDEN songs, like "Run to the Hills" wings.

How is that clever?

No, I can't accept that. That isn't clever, it's lazy. "Clever" takes on Maiden songs would be something like "Tea of Madness", "Bun to the Hills", "Infinite Beans", "Bruce Chickenson", "Blaze Bailey's", "Steve Haggis", "No Poultry for the Dying". "Beef New World" or "Beer of the Dark". And I wasn't even trying, those came from the top of my head. Come on Nicko, you're British. You should come up with something better than "Run to the Hills wings".

Wrong. It may not be clever, but it's also certainly not lazy. Here's why.

This is a rib joint in Florida. It's a rock 'n' roll theme, not just Maiden. Some of the food you mentioned isn't even on the menu. (Of course I know that wasn't your point. )

How many people in Florida will get your references? "Infinite Beans", to the average American, will mean all-you-can-eat beans.

Wings are going to be one of the most popular dishes at any rib joint. If you're going to get a well-known Maiden reference in somewhere, it's got to be RTTH, and the wings is a great place for it.

It's all sales and marketing, dude. Keeping the joint open takes priority over clever. :smartarse:

"The Wings of the Beast", surely that would work better than "Run to the Hills wings"? I'm fairly sure that Number of the Beast or even Fear of the Dark references would work just as well.

You know, I think the article got it wrong. I don't think they are called RTTH wings per se, I think RTTH is a level of hotness you can choose, as in mild; medium; hot; RTTH!

Lord of the Fries

That would actually be a nice name for a fast food stall. When they close, they can put up a sign reading "No More Fries".

And then you'd go to the nearby bar, From Beer to Eternity.

Actually, In Melbourne's CBD there are "Lord of the Fries" stalls :)
I think there's about half a dozen or so scattered around the city.
