Is there a version of this show where the high-pitched VHS sound that runs throughout has been scrubbed out (if that's at all possible)? The show otherwise sounds amazing.

No idea mate, sorry. I imagine it's possible to fix that kind of thing with software. I know that audio cassette hiss can be removed on mp3 files.
