I must respectfully disagree. Appetite For Destruction was absolutely brilliant. The Use Your Illusion albums, while not exceptional, were still very good. GnR were at their best when they just let it rip without trying to turn every song into a rock opera (although some of their extended songs like "Coma" or "Estranged" are still noteworthy). I can understand if GnR is not everyone's cup of tea, but to say they were "always no good" seems unfair and inaccurate to me.
