Mistake in the Rock in Rio DVD

Hello mates

Yesterday, while I was watching the Rock in Rio DVD, I saw a very weird thing during Janick Gers' "Ghost of the Navigator" solo : they show Adrian Smith with a [a href=\'http://fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0101302703\' target=\'_blank\']2-color sunburst Fender Stratocaster guitar[/a], and in the next scene (where he appears), just a few seconds after this last one, we can see him with a White Fender Stratocaster guitar.
I shall add that he began the song with the same White guitar.

So, there was a mistake about this particular scene. A guitarist can't go and change his guitar during a musical part :

I) He can't vanish from the stage just like that, even if he has a major problem (btw he didn't because we can see him using the same white guitar after)
II) It won't take 5 seconds to go back and change his guitar...well maybe, but only if he's Carl Lewis !

The same thing happens with davey on sanctuary or iron maiden I think, he plays a black strat, then has a white, then black again, then white again... I think it's sanctuary, anyway, it's editing stuff, they used footage from other shows cuz some of the H footage was lost or sumthin'... I guess that same with davey I dunno.
 
The same thing in wickerman too. And yes Nobby you're right, the footage of H and Davey were lost somehow. But I think it's just from some other parts of the RIR show.

Actually in the no more lies video you can see nicko play on the hihat but you hear him playing the ride cymbal, or was it the other way around. I think i've spotted something like that on RIR to.
 
It's safe to say it happens quite alot... watchin' it now, davey's guitar changes from vintage white to ebony too much on WrathChild...

funnily enough, I have never seen this up until today, and I have seen that dvd many times
 
Ofcourse not, cuz first times you watch it it's just for fun, after that it's for fun and noticing stuff.

I don't care about it really, it doesn't matter, it doesn't detract from the quality, it's still the best show ever.

on a side note, not really but it's cool to say side note, I didn't notice any of these things besides the guitar changes with davey on sanctuary.
 
hmm. I guess you dont really look that closly, Im usually readin a book or somethin while its on, I would get bored watchin the same show over and over....
 
Hehe I like havin' it in the background each day, it inspires me, but I rarely watch the whole thing now, I do however watch some highlights, which leads me to watch the rest of the show hehe...
 
wow... i've watched my Rock In Rio dvd a million times and never noticed these kinds of things. You would think I would after the hundreth time I watched it.
