Lepper Messiah! :ok: I don't pay attention to metallica why is this so amazing?

Aside from the songs off of Death Magnetic they are practically all Classics and a few clocking over the 8min mark. I don't think they've ever played song #10 live before, so that is REALLY awesome. And I thought the set list for the concert here in Tucson was kick ass ;)

Wow... I think I went to the wrong night  :(

The only 3 I would have really missed in my concert would be Ride the Lightning, Sanitarium and Dyers' Eve. In return I'd get Disposable Heroes, The Thing That Should Not Be, Fade to Black, The Call of Ktulu, Fight Fire with Fire... even Leper Messiah and Trapped Under Ice! Yep, definitely went to the wrong concert :S

Yes, they have. It's on S&M. But live on their own (no orchestra) - I don't know about that.

However, Metallica has played most of their songs sooner or later over the years. I find it hard to believe they've skipped that song until now.

That's a great set list.  One of the reasons I never bothered to go to a 'tallica concert is because I'm tired of the softies from the 90s.  This was light on those years and heavy on old stuff.

They've been doing that in their last few tours. I don't know what made them change, but I'm liking it.

That's what I thought, glad they finally went for it without the orchestra.

I only wish Maiden would do like Metallica and mix it up and pull out some old, rarely played stuff. The 2 history tours and Still Life and The Prisoner on the 7th Son tour were the closest they ever got.

id agree with you without SBIT. I think I've made my thoughts clear about that set plenty of times.

I was at that Melbourne show in November. Fight Fire with Fire was a highlight and a surprise. Puppets and One also sent the crowd wild.
