Metal lyrics or high school poetry?

That was pretty funny, a lot of these musicians DO start when they are teenagers, which might explain their underdeveloped writing skills, though i must say one of the lyrics there (I won't say which so I don't ruin it) are from one of the best cd's by that band... so it is all a matter of perspective.

Furthermore, I saw this on your "quiz":

As someone who has known many upstanding people who happened to be gay, I become fucking furious when I see the word "gay" used simply to mean "bad". It is the worst kind of prejuidice. Would you dare to use, for example "Greek" in the same manner if you simply didn't like Greek people? Grow up and stop promoting hate.

You may be able to get away with that on your own site, but if I ever see the word "gay" used in that manner on this site, accounts are getting banned. No warning, no PM - just straight out banned. And that applies to everyone, not just hanginglimbs. I've been lenient in the past, but those days are over. Just don't do it.
 
I understand how that upset you and I'm sorry it did, but did you ever call anything retarded? I have a gay uncle, as well as a gay best friend, AND a retarded cousin. I don't get offended at either the term "gay" or "retarded" being used in such a way. My gay friend doesn't mind it either and he actually despises the term "gay" being used to describe homosexuals. I guess its all about perspective and personal opinion, but I don't think it's as clear-cut as you expect it. Other terms like "idiot" have gone on to mean other things than their immediate definition, but I don't see parents of "idiots" getting angry at the word.

As for the site promotion, fine, your rules are your rules, I can't change that.
