Merry Christmas!

Christmas starts on Christmas Eve in most parts of Europe. ;)

In that sense: Have a good one everybody!

My kids had a great time!  My son got Rock Band 2, and also the stuff to make a 'talk box' (something for his guitar?).  Girls got some new Wii games, books and the like-- the youngest wanted Michael Jackson cd and poster (she got it).  Loot for Wasted:  I got a waffle maker, wine glasses, Firefly season on dvd, many new books, and some nice leather boots.  Best part (not to be all gooey) was that for only the 2nd time in the last 10-15 years, I got to take my kids to the parents for my grandfather's Christmas brunch (its usually impossible for me to get off Saturdays around Christmas time).

I hope you all are having a great time spending Christmas in which ever way you enjoy!  --soon its off to spend Christmas afternoon with some family and friends for a 'Christmas Afternoon Party'.

I spent the Christmas with three English people plus my family and relatives. It was really nice, and especially to practise my verbal English skills a bit more. Not to mention, they are very nice people too.

I got cutlery, sheets, Halford Rock in Rio, Rob Halford designed T-shirt http://www.metalgodapparel.com/p-20-studs-spikes.aspx , perfume, clothes and I managed to fuck the Edge Pro bridge up on my new (second hand) Ibanez Prestige I bought a few weeks back. I really need to learn how to set a Floyd bridge, because it's expensive to have it set up at the store.

I got the Chickenfoot CD, the new Transatlantic CD, the Transatlantic Live In Europe DVD, a double-bass drum pedal, Star Trek on Blu-Ray, and an Amazon Kindle for reading books anywhere. And a really nice Julius Caesar biography I've been wanting for a few years.

The Chickenfoot cd is great. Really nice to hear Satch take a more laid back approach. Nice presents.  :)

The Kindle rules.  I love mine.  My presents this year aren't worth mentioning, but Santa brought my son a three-foot-high toy replica of a Saturn V rocket, the rocket that was used in the Apollo moon missions.  It is pretty damn realistic and accurate (and educational), as it contains all the pertinent modules and comes apart in the various launch stages.  My son is waaayyy into space stuff, and recently met Buzz Aldrin, so this was perfect for him.  Still, I highly recommend this toy to any of you with children between 4 and 8.  Hope everyone had a Merry (and safe) Christmas!

Merry Christmas all. As for my loot, well, I got the norm - chocolates, Homer Simpson slippers, Port, Ouzo and the like, plus I got an enamel coffee pot to sit on top of my wood burner.
