As we progress the best songs are left standing. Each round is 2 days long. The top ten songs from this series will proceed to the next series, where they compete against the songs from the next album.

Eventually we'll have an overall top 10, and then we'll eliminate those songs one by one until only The Best Megadeth Song survives.

Sweet, a Megadeth survivor! I'm not sure the new rules are entirely clear in my head, they sound a bit confusing, but as GK says, this one shouldn't take as long as the others.

Bottom line:
You will often get more votes. For instance, you get 5 votes in this round. (Did you really leave 3 votes unused?)
There is potential to eliminate more songs each round, but this is not guaranteed. It's also much more likely when there are a lot of songs left.
There is more protection to keep good songs from being eliminated by the strange events caused by low voter turnout.

I think it is likely this game will move faster, but we'll still have to wait and see.
