And if Maverick does stumble on your site and choose to use information from you, he ought to credit you. We've had discussions about that before - he used to be bad about giving credit. He was scolded for it, and he's been much better since.

The credit is really important. It's not just about giving people their due, but it also proves your own reputability. To be credible, you want to list your sources so people can scrutinize them. If someone finds a source I use to be lacking credit, I want to know. That's why I list them. I try to make my information and my sources as transparent as possible so they can be attacked and scrutinized by people. The more scrutiny, the better I can do to fix errors and make my information that much more accurate.
The fact that no other site does this is the reason why there's been problems with these lists for years. Even the band's management and label can't even get the tour dates right!
