Powerslave is the strongest of the surviving albums from round #2 ( = SSOASS 64% vs. PS 36% last Thursday) which means: Powerslave is brought back to the table against Food For Thought to complete round #2 today. ;)

So, which one is the better album: Piece Of Mind or Powerslave? :shred:

Powerslave has one more great song than Piece Of Mind, so it wins for me. Moreover, it's the first Maiden album that I've listened to and I felt immediately in love with the band and its music. So, Powerslave is very special to me. That's why I chose it. <3 <3 <3 :rocker:
 
Toughest decision yet, these two are constantly switching between 4th and 5th place on my ranking. If Piece of Mind ended with Still Life it would paste Powerslave, but its last three songs - though again, far from bad - are probably the weakest songs across both albums. Powerslave is more consistent, and its two best tracks (the final pair) are well within my top ten, so today I'll vote that. Ask me tomorrow and I'll probably say Piece of Mind is better. :lol:
 
Piece of Mind easily for me though I am shocked that anyone considers To Tame a Land as anything but a perfect song
 
Powerslave is epic. But Piece of Mind is THE quintessential golden years Maiden album. To tame a land is criminally underrated. This is definitely a heavy weight match but i have to go with the dinner table here. In my MIND, PIECE is the main dish. OF course. Again just some food for thought.
