Maiden inspired from a Bollywood song?

I do not intend to claim that one party copied another or anything as such. I just happen to find the main riff from a bollywood song strikingly similar to that from 'The Writing On The Wall'. Interestingly it came out much before TWOTW. Do you guys also notice it??

I can see your point, but I don't think there's any connection. That specific sound is basically the cliche "western rock" guitar riff that you'd think of if you wanted to write something western theme. TWOTW taps into the same style, but has a more elaborate melody.

Most Adrian riffs are quite generic, and you can hear them elsewhere (2minutes..). It's Bruce vocal lines that make their songs special
