Hi all looking for a bit of guidance from any magnum fans got the chance to go see them but not too familiar with their stuff any advice on best place to start would be great cheers.

Hi Feverdog, I like the first four studio albums (pretty different ones but each has its own charm; if you like one less, I'd certainly not overlook the others) and the first live album Marauder is a must.

Singer Bob Catley has a very powerful voice. I always thought that this stuff might have inspired Dio a tiny bit for his solo career:

Later albums often contain 2 or 3 very strong tracks as well.

Have to say Chase the Dragon is a excellent album and i would recommend Magnum to any maiden fan check out the song Back To Earth with its maiden esque gallop.
