I just checked the stats of this forum and I was amazed to see this:

January 2009       16

Is this correct, seriously? 
 
That was when we had a huge spam attack on this board. A lot of spammers registered and opened threads (mostly in this forum) about penis enlargements and titties. There are very few traces of that left, as we deleted every thread as soon as we saw it (which was often right after it was posted). Nothing to worry about. ;)
 
Ah, a fossil of minor digital terrorism. Thanks for the info!

Some older ex-members, were they also spambots? This Ancient Mariner had a rediculous amount of posts. 
And the amount of opened topics by Eddie's Lil Helper is also hard to believe.

Ancient Mariner started the 100k thread, and spam posts counted in those days.

Eddie's Lil Helper ran the old Metalfans section, and was a member of the news team, back before it was automatic, you used to have to open threads manually.
