Judas Priest - The angel of retribution

A few weeks ago, when i was wandering around in my local music store, I noticed this nice little record. So I bought it and went home to listen to it. In some points of view, it was a disappointment, but is some different cases a masterpiece. So I thought it would be nice if you'd share your views with the rest of us.
 
I was very prejudiced when I got the album. I thought that it would just be some sort of Reunion record of a band that had had it's day.

Well, I was wrong. It's certainly not the best Priest album, but it still is a great one. It's got some really great tracks on it, and none that I would describe as "bad" (though there are some mediocre ones).

A great album, more than just a reunion album.

Screaming For Vengeance, followed by Stained Class.
 
Hehe it would be fun to know Mavericks opinion. But probably, he's too busy or he just won't answer.

I am the only person I have ever met (ha!) to say that Defenders of the Faith is my favorite.

Angel of Retribution was decent album. Not anywhere near their best though.

The Sentinel...Yes!
 
Freewheel Burning has some crazy solos in it. DOTF is prety cool but then again Stained Class has Beyond The Realms Of Death and Exciter. BOTROD has some great lyrics, it's a shame that Priest don't write lyrics of that calibre that often. They some pretty dumb song titles like "I'm A Rocker", "Eat Me Alive" and of course a very original name for a song, "Heavy Metal".
