As much as I love it here. I cant help notice the lack of new or original posts

Has anyone else noticed this?
Does anyone care?

Remember that this is an Iron Maiden fansite, and therefore this board tends to become highly active only when Maiden release new albums or are on tour. I would say, from my 18 or so months here, that the current level of activity is about average.

For some time ago, there was VERY low activity on the forum, but then some new users arrived and some old found their way back, so no w think it's a nice ratio of posts per day. The Official BB i just too much for me. This way it gets a little more personal.
 
Most official BB-ers spend hours a day at their forum. This forum is good enough for me as I've only been checking every few days lately. And hey, quality over quantity. I prefer it quiet, that way i can keep up!

Not that i've been around much what with things being hectic since dec 1st!
 
man, I don't know if it's the fact that first we had winter break (aka CHRISTMAS) and then school started but it is rather inactive. I visit here everyday and I find two things. One: nothing has happened. Or Two: I get here and I find a topic with 20 posts and it is closed because either Mav, SMX, LC or Owl thought it had gone far enough. And I'm thinking... how could I have missed this?

umm this is the genral forum so maiden related topics are not the reason for the recent quiet.
