Is it time for "Listen with Nicko - the next 20 years"?

I just had a marathon of all ten "Listen with Nicko's" in a row and I hope that they eventually decide to do this for all the singles from "No Prayer..." onwards...

What do you guys think? I guess it's unlikely, but I can still hope!

in an interview in the early 90s steve said he would like to release a "next ten years" box set. I think that there are two possibilities why this never happened. 1: The Reunion was so busy it passed thier heads. 2: There wern't enough singles and they decided to wait til 2011 and do a 20 years box. or they might just wait until retirement

That's mad. I was only thinking about new Listen with Nickos yesterday.

I think it's high time we had more.

BTW, there are actually 11 Listen with Nicko's, if you count the one on the No Prayer promo disc.

Yep, time for more "Not a lot of people know that's..."

Rather than yet another greatest hits package (which we're long overdue for), I'd rather them re-release all the singles from 'NPFTD' onwards with Nicko waffling on the end of them... even if they're just released as a digital only thing.

I think there have been more than enough singles released since the last set, so that can't be a problem...

Nah, we've still got a year. Think about it: Best of the Beast (1996), Ed Hunter (1999), Edward the Great (2002), The Essential (2005), Somewhere Back in Time (2008) - they were all released in three year intervals. So, the next one is due only in 2011. Sit back and wait, I'm sure this one will be completely necessary.

"I love Nick" obviously went right over your head then, yeah?  ;)
That was about the Listen with Nickos. As for the Best Of CD's the next one will be released in time for another history tour. Just like The Essential and SBIT. I think it would be extremely cool if the next best of was 1995-2010

I think it would be extremely cool if they would not release yet another compilation so they don't make it even harder for fans to defend them against claims that they are selling out.

I've never really understood the "Maiden are selling out" nonsense. They're a band and they make money from it, that is all. As far as I'm concerned they can release as many compilations as they like. They're not forcing us to buy the stuff. I don't, nor will ever own Edward the Great or the Somewhere Back in time cds...

I'll admit I bought Somewhere Back in Time for the sweet, sweet Riggs cover and the fact that it was only $9.99. I hardly ever listen to it though.

Forget a compiliation, I'd love to get a nice live album that combines the 2 TFF tours. One packed with goodies from this summer's 2000s-centric list AND the standard 6 new tracks from TFF (plus maybe one or two older gems that they'll dust off in 2011?).
