Just Get Better with Age!!!!

Firstly, Hello to everyone on the board......

As you can see from the very small post count, im new here! Have been reading these boards for ages and finally,
long overdue taken the plunge! Never really had much time to post due to work commitments but I'll see what I can do.
Im 23, uk based and been listening to Maiden and going to gigs for over 10 years!

Back to the wine comment....Maiden just seem to be getting better with age.

I write this with A Matter of life and Death playing on its third loop in the background. I have to say this is one of the Finest
Maiden albums I have heard......Im not into saying its better than......"insert album name"..... I like every Maiden album for
different reasons.

For this Particular album, its such a Mixture of the Maiden Gallop and the "three amigos" guitar riffs that I can see it appealling to the
long time fans but just enough of a new direction to take it away from the latest albums with the new line up. (Which is What I was hoping for!)

What has pleased me most about this album.....is the production and sound is so much better!
Personal highlights for me...Nicko's superb Drumming.....And at long last.......Steve "Mr Iron Maiden" Harris.....I can hear his fantastic
Bass!! The 3 amigo's and the Air raid siren are also on top form....not ot leave them out.

On this evidence Maiden have at least 5 more years in them yet! So dont think about drinking that wine Just yet!!!

To sum up...not only am I so pleased Maiden are still rocking.....but making music that bands half their age could only dream of!! ;)
See you all over the winter no doubt during the tour!!!!

Still waiting for the album in the States, but from what I have heard, the Maiden Gallop seems to be missing. They relied so heavily on it in the past, so perhaps its good that its missing from what I have heard so far.

Hoping there are decent vocal hooks in the songs to make the indistinguishable and memorable tracks.

Be unafraid. There are lots of great choruses and vocal melodies there. You won't be disappointed.

Edoelcki, do not be afraid my friend, The gallop, great vocals, superb drumming, a rejuvinated bass sound are all there.
And its guitar riffs a Go-Go............

Just Superb........Just sorry you have to wait a few more days for the album!
