Iron Maiden - all intros on all tours

Eddie Rips up the World

Bruce did a special piece for his BBC 6 Music Rock Show including bits about their show in Reykjavik. One of those had him talking backstage whilst getting ready to go on stage, while Doctor Doctor was being played! :)

I don't think "The Ides of March" was used on that tour. Wasn't it just the intro from "Murders in the Rue Morgue" on tape?

Yep the Murders intro was played on tape, I never heard of the Ides of March being played.

Re: beast on the road, Doctor Doctor was brought back on GMETID tour and I'm sure I read in media at the time that they were using it as the intro as it had also been the intro on the Beast on the Road tour.

A bit of trivia:

In the days of the Cart & Horses & the Ruskin Arms, Steve had a tape he made up of different songs much like the ones we hear before a Maiden show now, and they used to play that tape before the gig. 'Doctor, Doctor' was the last one on the tape.

Luisma, do you know if Doctor Doctor was used on the Beast on the Road tour?
