So I'm here reading the forums instead of working. I really don't feel like doing anything this morning, and there's nobody here to make me do it [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Just wondering how many read these forums at work? What about at home?

Yeah! I routinely check in here everyday. But as my space is positioned in a manner that I could get caught, I am not able to post much.
Home is a different matter, since I spend all day at a comp, I don't want to spend anymore time on it at home...... well unless I really need something from the net.
So, YES! Maidenfans has factored into my work habits - it's one of the first things I check in the day (along w/ Maiden's site and my email), and I intermittently check it at variable intervals throughout the day until quitting time.
Damnit, now that it's been called to my attention, I realize what a slacker I am......
 
I've seriously considered taking a long break from the board since I feel it is becoming an addiction (i'm in class right now), but I also check it at home and work. I've been successful as I only check it once a day now instead of the thousands I used to. My name is Onhell and I'm a maidenholic...
 
I use it at college. Although if I get caught the annoying I.T. asisstants block it, I always find a way in though somehow. I'm risking losing my internet account at school if I carry on looking at sites that aren't 'education related'. It was pathetic, at the start of term they made us sign a contract that said that we would only look at educational sites etc. Contract breached [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

I used to browse this and other forums all the time while I were supposed to do school work. Unfortunately, as I now work in a restaurant, I'm not near a computer and have to feed my cravings once I get home.
 
My friend who is a nurse...is also on this...she says she checks it at work...but shes a trainee surgeon....would u sit a laptop on a kidney transplant?

You could argue that the commentary is educational [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--] or at the very least very informative [!--emo&;)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

If I try to pull up this site at work, I get in giant red letters: ACCESS DENIED, YOUR INTERNET USAGE IS BEING MONITORED BY THE CORPORATE OFFICE.

I guess it's back to all the football forums, I hate talking football during the offseason.
 
Sorry, I work in retail. But I can forsee the future, when I'm teaching a class, and there's a computer on my desk...

i am at college I routinely check the forum. The_7th_Son we had to do the same thing, but no one at our college ever follows those rules, IT guys dont care.

The reason i view these message boards is to avoid work.

Unfortunately, in the lab where I study, I can only use the internet for researches.
And if I get caught using it for something else, I'm - let's say - half-dead !! [!--emo&:(--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

So I can only check this forum once I'm at home. I like it. It's a pretty nice forum.
But it didn't get in my life, since I only spend 1/2 an hour each day (on this website).

Well, the reason why they don't probably care is because they're breaching the contract themselves... Anyway, I'm no t addicted to it. I mean, if my dad brgins his laptop i'll check this place out once a day, but if he doesen't, i don't go to net cafes, nor do I start acting all weird...
