10/10, of course. It's my third favorite Iced Earth song. Best part of the song is of course duet between Schaffer and Greely/Barlow.

9/10. I thoroughly enjoy this song, especially the version from Alive in Athens, which is always what comes to mind when I think of it. A very powerful live version.

This forum introduced me to Iced Earth and Blind Guardian, which has been incredibly enriching.  Iced Earth has certainly had its moments of brilliance.  Alive in Athens is one, and a must-own.  Desert Rain is not my favorite IE tune, but it's a solid 8.

You should check out more of them, i don't think you would like the first album that much because it doesn't have a that good vocalist but most other stuff by them is good.
