I need gardening advice

I'm trying to kill a tree without cutting it down and without leaving too many obvious signs that it died of anything other than natural causes.

For certain reasons, I don't want to go into many more details than that, but was wondering if anyone could offer any advice. My best idea so far is to inject it with a herbicide such as Roundup, or even a 2:1 epoxy/oil mixture.
 
But to counteract the pollution into the atmosphere of carbon gases etc, do we not need trees?

So this is why he put forward his ban-all-cars theory!  He wants to have his way with the trees without doing too much damage to the environment! :D
 
I think you are going to have to fess up more details if you want help Duke, Nothing wrong with killing a tree that is destroying your plumbing or cracking the foundations of your house, but if you are doing it for the hell of it, well, you've already seen the reactions :D

Least I could do was to make some sort of coherent, intelligent, thoughtful post. But no, I opted for an obvious swipe at the Duke's attempt at mocking us. Shame on me.

Urinate on the tree.
But if you need to excrete do it in the toilet please
