How many years/albums has Iron Maiden got left in them?

I was not saying it could not be done, but rather why the hell it would be done.  Like I said, Maiden have always lived for touring.

I've been re-watching the Beatles Anthology DVDs lately. And it has to be pointed out, the Beatles were a special case.

They stopped touring because between the thousands of screaming girls - who were there mostly just to scream, and not to listen - and the primitive state of amplification in 1965, no one could hear the music. Not even the band as they tried to play it.

If amplification tech had been ten years ahead - say, 1975 tech in 1965 - the Beatles probably would have kept on touring.

I'll take whatever I can get, but the don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.  I expect 2 more albums and relative tours, plus history and good bye tours.  That can be done in about 6 more years.

It will indeed be a sad, sad day when we finally do get that news that Iron Maiden is done...

However, I do not see it happening for another 6-8 years. They have gotten their second wind, and their recent live performances have even bested their 80's performances. And Bruce is one of those rare singers who's voice has actually gotten BETTER with age (my opinion, of course)

I am not so sure about albums... If I had to guess, I would like to think we'll get at least one more album, MAYBE two. But as for tours, I have a feeling we'll be seeing Iron Maiden atleast another 4-5 tours before they call it quits
