Hi guys,

I was just looking around the site for the first time in years, and I thought I'd say that it looks pretty good. Maverick has done an awesome job since he took over the site! At the time I was totally burned out and probably would have simply killed the site if it wasn't for him.

I don't listen to Maiden very often anymore, not because I don't like it (I'll always love the classic albums), but because you can't just listen to the same old stuff endlessly year after year. You have to have new music too. These days I mostly listen to black/death/viking metal. Some favorites (in no particular order) are: Thyrfing, Finntroll, Nile, Naglfar, Vehemence, Hypocrisy, Dark Tranquillity, Amon Amarth, Immortal, Bolt Thrower, Moonsorrow, Windir, Ensiferum, and many others.

Anyway, I'm just visiting and probably won't be back. But I like what the site has become and I'm glad it's still alive and up to date. Nice work guys!

In all seriousness...hi Baeleron! Thank you for creating the monster that Maverick now somehow keeps fed with new information. It's okay if you don't listen to Maiden much. We all listen to different things all the time. Please feel free to stick around the forum. I promise that it's not all IMBB-style posts on how much "Maiden rulez".

Well this is a nice surprise. Last time I did was the concert back in August. That list of bands is great. Dark Tranquility, Immortal and Nile are superb. I really want to try Ensiferum and Finntroll. As well as Moonsorrow!
