Happy New Year (and Decade!), Maidenfans!

Just spent midnight in a hot tub with my family drinking champagne.

Happy New Year Maidenfans, let's hope for a new album and tour!

I'm off to go watch hockey and drink in style! Happy New Years to my Maidenfans friends!

Happy New Year! I just woke up, stll kinda dizzy of the vodka.

Anyone knows a 9 or 10 year old child and wants to wake it up in a sudden manner? Play this, on ten. ;)

Heavy New Year everyone! Make this the best you've ever had... and make this the decade of your lives!

Tell me about it... I learned a valuable lesson last night. If the stuff sounds like it comes from an abandoned Soviet border post, it also tastes like that, and it also treats you like that!

Heh, well we had Smirnov, but we ate a lot as well in between the "na zdrowie"s, so that went pretty OK. Feeling better already.
In the background there was some internet Classic Rock channel (without DJ and news) and they even played Echoes by Pink Floyd! Further moments I remember well: a song from the Sabbath's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album, Maiden's Run to the Hills, Van Halen - Jump, Guns'N' Roses, Queen, Genesis.

Sounds great! At our party, somebody had popped in Piece of Mind around midnight, so the new year started with Maiden, no less. I think it was Quest for Fire playing at 0:00, but I can't be sure.

I know I'm pretty alone with this but I actually like the song, and I mean I like it a lot.

I love it! Mostly people seem to dislike it because of its lyrics. Those solos are probably my favourites from that whole album, and I dig the bass playing a lot too.

Coincidently I read this, about a week ago.
:)

The entire instrumental section is one of the most dramatic they've ever done, in my opinion. Sure, the lyrics are a bit dodgy, but I enjoy them and I actually studied Prehistory for two years! Plus, I simply love caveman stuff, realistic or not.

I should check out that book some time.

Happy New Year everyone!!!!  I really hope this will be a good year,  because 2009 was plain awful for me.  Ironically it had started pretty well,  but that was just for a couple of days.  Anyway,  like Perun said:  make this the best you've ever had.  :)

2010 started as 2009  had started : being stoned in my house, only this time I had my cat with me.
When 2010 entered, hundreds of artificial fireworks, ship's whistles from the anchorage and some 'wild ones' firing their guns
...my cat got terrified and hide herself under the bed!!

Now some asshole neighbour is firing his fucking gun again

Anyway happy new year to all !

You're in Greece right?  Unless your neighbor is from Crete(:P),  why would he have a gun?

 In Crete they have Kalasnikov, where I am (Piraeus' suburb) they prefer 45s.  ;)
I know that guy, one day I was returning home and he had some visitors in his balcony with traditional music and BBQ
He suddenly put out his gun and start shooting  ::) what a looser

He's firing again now

Happy new year all. I must admit, 2009 was not that bad for me, personally, but my work has become pretty stressful of late - and it shows no signs of letting up.
