Well, well- I just came across some facts about the word Perun and thought - where should I post this? I have to share it with somebody.

I assume you know about it, Perun, but those who don't might find it interesting to mention that the thunder god Perun actually has the same origin as the Finnish word perkele, as Perkele was also the name of a thunder god in ancient Finnish mythology ...

And of course, a delayed happy birthday to the Thunder God. Förr perkele.  ;)
