GMail feature lets you play MP3 files right inside the GMail

I have received gmail email's with playable songs in them. No downloading, just press play and listen. My question... how do i do this? I have mp3's of unsigned bands i would like to share with friends without making them jump through hoops like linking them through mega upload etc...  Thank you in advance.

I would suspect they are streamed so you will need something to host the MP3's on. Does GMail have a hosting ability? I know it can give you storage, so I guess it could be dumped there and then embedded in the email.

Never tried this, but I'm only guessing.

Yes, I would think that it is just hosted on gmail and streamed. In fact, I'm almost sure that just by attaching a file and sending it, that's the result.
