Universally acclaimed guitarist Gary Moore will once again cause jaws to drop with the sizzling 'Live at Monsters of Rock' DVD and CD, scheduled for separate release on Sanctuary Records. The CD will arrive in stores first on September 30, 2003. The DVD will follow on October 21, 2003.

'Live at Monsters of Rock' was filmed and recorded at a fiery performance on May 21, 2003, at the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena on the Monsters of Rock tour which featured Whitesnake and other artists.

Moore was touring with Cass Lewis (ex-Skunk Anansie) on bass guitar and Primal Scream drummer Darrin Mooney. The Irish guitar virtuoso named the trio Scars, and it also served as the name of their 2002 album on Sanctuary. After many critically and commercially successful years of focusing on a straightforward blues direction, Scars found Moore returning to the hard-rock roots he planted during his tenure with Thin Lizzy and on his early solo albums.

The track listing for both the CD and DVD is as follows: "Shapes of Things," "Wishing Well," "Rectify," "Guitar Intro," "Stand Up," "Just Can't Let You Go," "Walking By Myself," "Don't Believe a Word," "Out in the Fields" and "Parisienne Walkways."

The DVD is presented in 16:9 widescreen picture format and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo audio formats. Bonus features include soundcheck footage and a backstage interview with Moore.

'Live at Monsters of Rock' showcases Moore at his explosive best.
