Former MANOWAR Drummer SCOTT COLUMBUS Dead At 54

Never liked Manowar much but it is sad that his death was overlooked.

Whether you like Manowar or not, you can't deny that he was a great drummer.

The following might not be the most appropriate thing to say at this moment, so I'll put it in spoiler tags.

I do think that would be better of in a general Manowar discussion. We aren't far apart in our opinions, but this is really more about Scott Columbus.

You're right, but your post about Scott being a great drummer really urged me to draw Hamzik out of the shadows.
However, when I started that post I wasn't aware of his return.

I'll move that stuff in another Manowar topic.

Yeah, but there can be more than one great drummer. I'm not saying that Scott Columbus was the best drummer ever, but for his merit, he was a great drummer, and he will be sorely missed.

Agreed. I have opened a new Manowar topic because all the others were on strange subfora, or not that appropriate. If people disagree they may move my post to another topic.

Good call. Nothing will stop Scott from going to Valhalla now.

I didn't say he wasn't a great drummer. But I think I'll listen to some Manowar later to see how good he was.
